Dearest readers, I intended to put this post out earlier, but that didn’t happen. So here it is:
I just hope that you are all well and warm. I know this past year might have been tough for some of you, and I’m sure there were good moments too. I encourage you to soak in the good moments and try to understand the bad ones. As for the new year, I hope that it goes well. I pray that you are all blessed beyond measure and are able to overcome the challenges that appear in your way. No, I don’t wish you a happy new year. I wish that you pursue happiness this year, and even though none of us may be able to actually attain it, I hope we come pretty close.
So, while we wonder where all the time went and how on earth we thought we would be able to tick off every resolution we made, let’s not waste any more time. Let’s write practical resolutions and follow them through the year (something I’m planning to do this year). Let’s not fret over what could’ve been, and instead focus on what can actually be.
Slow and steady, let’s aspire to be better versions of ourselves, learn to take care of others (and ourselves), be kind, and do whatever else is necessary to make every second worthwhile. But remember that we all deserve a break once in a while. (And that’s a whole other thing I don’t want to jump it to right now—but you know what I mean)
“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”
―Maya Angelou
Also, while we’re here, let’s say a prayer for all those in calamity, facing injustice every moment, even as you read these words. Let’s pray that this year, the terror subsides and that God puts an end to all tyranny. For the people of Gaza and for all those who have been robbed of their lives… Amen.
Feel free to leave a comment down below sharing your resolutions or prayers. Thank you for reading. Truly.

Relating so hard to this. Godspeed! :)
A resounding Amen!
